Yacht Painter
Join our crew of painters at Front Street Shipyard. We’re seeking boat painters who will sand, fair, prime and paint vessel of all types. Paints may include Awlgrip, Alexseal, and other marine paints. Experience with two-part paint systems is a plus, but not required.
Boat Rigger
Front Street Shipyard is seeking and experienced sailboat rigger to efficiently install, maintain, repair, and replace rigging and sailing systems. The rigger is responsible for unstepping and stepping masts, installing booms, tuning standing rigging, installing running rigging, connecting mast lights and wiring, and servicing winches and other hardware.
Yard Crew with CDL

We’re seeking mechanics who will be responsible for troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of diesel and gasoline engines, transmissions, drive train and related electrical equipment.
Carpenter
We’re seeking carpenters who will build fine yacht interiors on a variety of vessels. Marine experience is not required. The carpentry projects are wide-ranging, so your job will be different every day! You’ll work with all types of woods in a well-equipped shop with a team of people who love what they do.
Composite Technician
We’re seeking experienced, talented composite technicians to work in both our Belfast and our Bucksport, Maine, facilities. Build boats that you’ll be proud to see out on the water here in Maine and around the world!
